cogent

MCL are engaged in sectors where we need to have a high level and technical skills at the heart of our business.

We have developed many people, developing their skills “on the job” as they have progressed through their careers. These are skills, which are not always accredited, and Cogent are working with the National Skills Academies for Process Industries to put in place systems, which recognise this experience.

Cogent is the Sector Skills Council (SSC) for the Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Petroleum and Polymer Industries. They are licensed by Government to help employers in these science-using industries to address their workforce development needs so that they can compete successfully.
